Happy birthday Gracie

My sweet baby is two today! I can't believe how grown up she is. She isn't a baby anymore.
Grace is my angel. She is so happy and delightful all the time! I can't imagine our home without her, and I am so grateful Heavenly Father sent her to me!

My favorite things about Gracie are...

1. Her outgoing and fun personality. She likes everyone and is so charming!
2. Grace is always smiling and laughing.
3. Her kisses, she loves to get kisses from all of us, all the time!
4. She loves to tickle everyone
5. Grace copies everything Emma does and even tries to wear her clothes! She wants to be just like her.
6. She is so independent and wants to do everything herself!
7. Grace is very feisty, I love it!

Happy birthday baby, I love you so much!!!

Your head hit my baseball bat

Poor Cayden was playing outside last night after dinner, we had some family friends over, and their 9 year old found a bat in the backyard and decided he wanted to swing it, right into Cayden's head! When I saw Chuck bring him in with blood all over his head I about passed out. Head wounds always bleed worse than they are, but this was BAD! We could see his skull his wound was so wide and deep. Poor guy was so brave, once we got to the hospital he calmed down and didn't cry at all while he got his shot and stitches. 15 stitches later he looks pretty good! On the way home last night we said a prayer of gratitude that he was protected, it would have been so much worse if it had hit his eye or nose. We are grateful he is ok.

Waiting to get in to the ER

You can see the skull underneath

Brave during the shots, he had to get about 6 shots all around the wound, poor kid!

Cleaned, numb and waiting for our stitches.

The doctor did a great job and was very thorough and careful.

All stitched up, it looks like the stitching on a baseball! I hope it heals well!

Happy Birthday Emma!!!

Today my baby is turning five! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. We are up at bear lake for our family reunion, so my cousin did glitter toes and feathers in her hair. Emma loved getting pampered this morning. We have a fun day planned full of boating, hiking to the caves, pizza, and bear lake raspberry shakes!

I just love this little girl.

My five favorite things about Emma...
1. Emma is always thinking of others and wanting to do nice things for people. She is constantly making me presents and bringing me flowers.
2. She has so much faith. Whenever anything is wrong she always wants to pray, and she knows Jesus will help her.
3. Emma is always so grateful, and always says thank you without me reminding her. She also thanks heavenly father for about 10 things everyone she prays.
4. She loves to sing, she makes up songs and dances around the house singing all day. She could entertain herself for hours just singing and dancing.
5. Emma is such a sweet sister. She is so good with Gracie and is always watching out for her. grace wants to do Everything Emma does.

5. Our honeymoon
4. Graduating with chucks Ph.D.
3. Hawaii
2. The birth of our children
1. The day we were sealed!!!

4th of July fun!!

We spent most of our holiday unpacking, but took a break for a barbecue with our friends the Bradleys, and then home for fireworks with mom and Ron and Kathy and Carve and their kids. we had a great time, a much needed break. Grace loved the fireworks. My parents new house is up on a big hill in Alpine so we could sit on the front porch and see the fireworks all over the entire valley, it was beautiful. They kept going for almost two hours. Amazing night!
