Late night party!!!

Cayden has been begging me to have a big sleepover with all of his friends. But since they all have the same rule that I do, no sleepovers at other people's house, I decided that we would do a late night party instead. All of his friends came over and we had a pizza party. After dinner we went over to the park to play and all the boys played soccer and football, while the girls played on the playground. When they got back we all got our jammies on and they watched a movie. After the movie we got out our old blow up bed and put it down the stairs and they had a blast sliding down it. They got to stay up playing until 10:00 and they were all so excited to be out past their bedtimes. The boys were so funny, they were all talking about sports and guns, and they kept making burping and farting noises. I guess guys are that way whether they are 30 or 5. I was laughing so hard, they were seriously already acting like preteen little boys. And the girls rolled their eyes at them the whole time. Cayden was so happy with it and I think all the kids had a lot of fun. I think I am going to start having some type of fun activity for the kids and their friends once a month, they love having all their friends over and I really want my house to be the one where all the kids like to come and play. Then I will always know where they are and who their friends are, especially as they get to be teenagers.

Gracie had fun at the party too!

Grandma and Grandpa Meeker

Chuck's parents were in town for Grace's blessing and it was so nice to get some time with them. The kids always love when they are in town. They love when Grandma tells them stories, she really does have the best stories. Their favorite is pinochio. They also love to go on walks with Grandpa, he will take them on the longest walks and just talk and play with them, they love it.

Walking with Grandpa, I think Cayden is showing off the bug he found on their walk.

Grace's Blessing

We blessed Gracie the first Sunday in September. It was such a beautiful blessing and it was so nice to have our family and friends with us to celebrate such a special day. She looked so beautiful and was silent through the entire blessing (YEY). Thanks to all our family who traveled and made an effort to be there, we love you all.

Gracie's luncheon

We had a luncheon for Gracie to celebrate her blessing. We did it on Saturday, the day before her blessing, cause I always hate to leave church for these things. We had so much fun. We kept it low key and only had a couple of our best friends and our immediate family. It was so nice to see everyone and have them all gathered to celebrate our little Grace. After the lunch we stayed and watched the BYU game, which they won! Go cougars. Anyway, it was a great day filled with food, fun, family, friends and football. What more could you ask for?

I couldn't resist taking this picture. She looks so cute an chubby

Dance class

Emma started dance last week. She has been begging me to take dance for over 6 months, so she was so excited to go. She is in a combo class and she says she likes tap and ballet the best, probly cause she has special shoes for those two. It was so cute to watch her in her class. All the other girls will get bored and stop listening to the teacher and will start doing other things, but Emma is listening and watching her intently the whole time. She has so much fun.

first day of preschool!

Emma started preschool a couple of weeks ago. She was so excited to go and loved it the first week, but last week she cried every day that I dropped her off and said she didn't want to go. Now this week she is excited again and wants to go. I guess girls do have the right to change their mind! I swear this girl has mood swings like I've never seen before. But she really does love it and she loves her teacher, Mrs. Daniels. She has grown up way to fast, she is not my little baby anymore, she is turning into a little girl.
