The Temple

My step sister was married in the temple last week and I took these pictures while I was there for her sealing. I love the temple, I love how beautiful and peaceful it is. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to be sealed there to my husband, and that because of my temple blessings I can be with my family forever. It truly is a place of peace and a refuge from the storms of life.

My girls

just a couple cute picture of my girls that I wanted to post. They are so cute I love them both so much.

Chuck took this picture of Gracie. he cut half of her head off, but I loved her smile, he can always get the biggest smiles out of her.

Emma had orange and black day at school, and I thought that she looked so cute I had to take a picture. She is growing and blossoming so much lately.

Please no more sickness!!!

I just found out today that my sweet little Gracie has the Swine flu. This is the latest in a long line of illnesses we have had over the past month. First Emma got strep, then I got sick with the flu, then Cayden got strep. Just as Cayden was recovering from strep Emma got it again and so did I. Then Cayden started acting like he had mono again so I went in to get him tested and it turns out he doesn't have mono, he has CMV, a virus that has all the same symptoms as Mono. I just got his results back today, about an hour after I found out that Grace has H1N1. She had luckily stayed healthy through all of our sicknesses and I was feeling so grateful that she hadn't gotten sick, but about noon yesterday she started to get a fever and respiratory systems, I took her in today and sure enough she had gotten swine flu. I am so worried that we are all going to get it now and it will be another month of sickness. I am so beyond exhausted, I don't think I can take anymore sick kids! Anyway, that is my negative complaining post for the month. I know things aren't really that bad, we have friends and family dealing with Cancer, tumors, autism and other things that are way worse than our little bout with sickness. So I am going to try and change my attitude right now and just be grateful that none of us have anything life threatening or long lasting. But I would appreciate prayers on my little Gracie's behalf, I hate when they are sick when they are this little and they don't understand what is going on. They just look so miserable. She doesn't even have enough strength to suck hard enough to eat, I just feel so bad for her.

Gracie update- Warning overload of pictures

My family out of state has been bugging me for weeks to post new pictures of Gracie so I took a couple 3 weeks ago and never got around to posting them, then I took some more of her today. The ones in purple are the more recent ones from today. So here she is, I caught some of her most expressive and funny looks that she gives us. She is so cute. I just want to say that I am so in love with this girl. She is so sweet. She really is the best baby. She started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks. She will go to bed at 8:30 and sleep until 5:00 or 5:30 then go back to bed until 7:30 or 8:00. She never cries except when she is tired, poopy, or hungry, and sometimes when she is bored. She loves Cayden and will smile at him all the time. I will always catch her staring at him with a huge smile on her face. She loves Emma too, but for some reason just really adores Cayden. She has a special smile reserved for mommy, and is starting to prefer me to everyone else. She has also started laughing, especially when I kiss her feet and blow on her tummy. She loves to take baths, and no matter how hard she is screaming if I put her in the bath she will stop immediately. I am enjoying her so much. I love everything about Grace, I love the smell of her breathe, and the sound of her eating. I love when I go to get her in the morning and seeing the huge smile on her face when she sees me coming. I love that she will sit with her daddy and just follow me with her eyes as I walk around the room, she wont let me out of her sight. She is starting to bat at her toys when I put them up above her, and she loves to hold our hands. She loves to sit in her bumbo on the counter and be with us while we eat. She is very social and always wants to be where we are, as long as she can see and hear us then she is happy. She gets bigger everyday, and I just want her to stop growing. I am so grateful to be enjoying this time so much.

My little sweetheart. She looks so much like Cayden in this picture

She is so cute, she will always squint just her left eye when she smiles big. So her left eye always looks smaller than her right.

She pulls her hands in like this and makes this face whenever she is not sure about something.

She always sticks her tongue out when she smiles. You can kind of see it on it's way out. She is so funny.
Her concerned face. I love this picture!

Her surprised face. I think she looks like me in this picture

Cornbelly's

We went to Cornbelly's last week and had a blast as usual. The kids look forward to this all year, and they were so excited when they saw the cornbelly's sign go up. Daddy had the LSAT the next day, so it was a nice break from studying to come and play with the family and take a breather before the test. Gracie was just happy to be outside and loves the wind. Here are a couple of the things we did there.

We got to spend time as a family. This turned out blury but I thought it was such a cute picture.

We got our faces painted.

Hung out with Mommy

and Daddy

We saw our best friends Ethan and Nora

we played in the pumpkin princess' carriage and dressed up like a princess and knight.

and we laughed a lot!!!

Soccer Windup

Cayden played his last soccer game on Saturday. He has improved so much over the season. The biggest improvement has been his attitude towards practicing and working hard at practice. His coordination has improved leaps and bounds as well. He had such a great time playing and had a blast having his best buddy Ethan on his team.

My future soccer star

action shot.

All his cheerleaders. Emma, Avery, and Riley. Riley came to watch his last game. He was thrilled that she came to see him play

After the game we went the Thanksgiving point with our friends Kendra, Brian, Ethan and Nora and got ice cream and lunch. They were having the pumpkin contest so we went over and saw all the huge pumpkins. The kids were amazed and just wanted to climb all over them, but after being scolded for letting them touch the pumpkins we decided it was time to leave.
