A mohawk and THE FACE

So Gracie has a couple funny things going for her right now. She has the cutest little mohawk. No matter what I do to her hair, within about an hour it looks like this...

I just naturally sticks straight up. The only way to make it stay down is if I put product in it, which I don't want to do everyday. So she looks cute for church and special occasions, but most days she just has a mohawk.

The other funny thing is THE FACE. She makes this hilarious face all the time. You know those faces that are cute cause their so ugly. She scrunches her nose and kind of squints her eyes. And the best part is that while she's making it she breathes really hard and fast, in and out of her nose, so she's making this nasally sound, it's so funny. Here is THE FACE...
Here is a little update on Gracie.

- She is 6 months old.
- She can sit by herself.
- She shows not interest in crawling, but can finally roll over.
- She sleeps on her tummy, goodbye bald spot.
- She still wakes up twice a night.
- She loves Cayden, every time he is in the same room as her she just stares at him and waits for him to look at her, and the moment he does she starts laughing and cooing.
- She also loves Emma, but likes it when she is playing with her from afar.
- She loves kisses from everyone, except daddy, who is to prickly for her.
- She is starting to prefer mommy to everyone else and has certain random people that she doesn't like for some reason. She cries whenever she see's my mom, Becca, and my best friend Aimee. It's so weird. She loves Rachael, Daddy, Cayden, Emma, and Grandpa Ron.
- She hardly ever cries, unless she is poopy, hungry, or tired. She is the best baby ever, and is just so delightful.
- She puts everything in her mouth. I can't even read to her, cause all she wants to do is eat the book. She loves to suck and gnaw on carrots.
- She has no interest in eating, the only thing I can get her to eat is sweet potatoes.
- She loves to cuddle and give mommy hugs. Her favorite thing to do is to cuddle mommy and have conversations. She will coo and talk back to me the whole time. She loves when I talk and sing to her.
- She loves Baby Mozart, and will watch it everyday for mom to prepare dinner.
- She grabs everything we have, and is starting to get mad and cry if we take something away from her or won't give her what she wants.
- She is the sweetest, bestest, cutest baby ever! I just adore her so much and I am so grateful for her.

Sledding and snowmen!

My kids love to play out in the snow. Our favorite activity for a winter day is to go out and build a snowman or go sledding. After that huge storm a couple of weeks ago the kids went out with dad and built a snowman. I do not like the snowman because it is staring at me through my back window and whenever I walk past the window I think there is someone in the back yard looking at me. It startles me every time. We also went sledding a couple Saturday's ago. The kids loved it but Gracie didn't

Gracie sat on the sidewalk in her bumbo and watched us, she wasn't very happy with her snow outfit and looked like this the whole time.

Scowling, just in case we didn't know she wasn't having fun!

Chrismas day!!!

We had such a great Christmas this year. The kids were totally spoiled between their 3 grandparents and us. Gracie didn't really get what was going on but she loved the wrapping paper. We woke up Christmas morning and opened presents, then I made special french toast breakfast (our favorite.) We hung out and played games as a family and the kids tried out their new toys. Then that afternoon we went to my moms and had dinner and hung out. It was such a laid back fun day. I'm so mad I didn't take any pictures of Chuck and I. Chuck got me Photoshop, which I am loving. He also got me a one hour massage, which is much needed. I got him a down coat, a tie, and a new 3 piece suit complete with vest (he looks so hot in it). The kids each got me scarfs and I have to say, I am impressed with how cute the ones they picked out are. They got Chuck some beanie hats. Cayden and Emma saved up their allowance and did jobs to earn all the money to get each other presents, Cayden got Emma a bell Dress and Emma got Cayden a Bionicle. My parents gave us our trip to Hawaii in July (yey, we can't wait), and some Ugh slippers and jammies. We really got spoiled this year. Thank you to all our family for all their love and wonderful gifts.
opening their joint gift from Santa, they got 3 new games to play together.

Helping Gracie open the present they got her, little leap frog piano.

Cute grace, loved her stocking stuffers

Grace didn't get a lot this year, I figured she didn't know what was going on anyway.

Emma and all her presents. She got pink legos from Santa, and a bunch of books and leapster games in her stocking.

Cayden got more legos from Santa and some leapster games and books in his stocking.

Opening the games

Both of them asked for art supplies so that is what Chuck and I got them, a huge box of art supplies for them together.

Cayden got a new leapster 2 from my mom.

Emma got her first Leapster from my mom, she loved playing with Cayden's old one and had begged us for her own "pink one".

Christmas eve!

We had the best time this Christmas. On Christmas eve we first went and did a service project at a hospice home. We made cookies and went and sang songs to the elderly people there. The people loved the kids, and would get a huge smile on their face when Cayden or Emma gave them a hug. One lady wanted Emma to sit on her lap, Emma was a little scared at first but quickly warmed up to them and was giving them all hugs. We sang a bunch of Christmas carols and Cayden even rehearsed a poem that he had memorized. It was a great experience for all of us. That evening we went to my dad and Brenda's for dinner. It was so fun to just hang out and eat good food.

The kids were begging us to open their Christmas jammies before we went to my dads house

Cayden's snowboarding jammies, I didn't make him match the girls this year, he told me he was to old to match little girls. I think he was probly right.

The girls jammies

Becca and Rachel came over and hung out before we went to dad's. My kids love them so much.

Cayden and Drew (my stepbrother) Cayden loves him so much

Me and my baby

Dad and Brenda

We had the cousins make presents for each other this year, it really ended up that me and Laura made them all. Laura made these cute cloth blocks for Grace, she loves to suck on them.

I made this tutu for Savannah, she loved it, so did Emma who told me I should have made one for her.

We gave Davie this apron for his new kitchen that he got from Grandma, he doesn't look like it, but I think he liked it.

Cute little Gracie and daddy

Laura made a cute beanbag toss game for Cayden and Emma, they love to play it all the time.
