first Crush!!

Emma has her first crush on a boy. She is so cute. He is the little brother of a boy on Cayden's basketball team. Tonight was their first practice and her and Christopher hit it off immediately. They laughed and played the entire practice. When it was time to go Christopher came up to Emma and gave her his cutest smile and Said goodbye and gave her a hug. She blushed and said goodbye. They have practice again tommorrow and as we were leaving Emma said, "Mom I really need to dress cute tommorrow cause I will see Christopher again. I just love him." As we walked out to the car his family was walking next to us and Emma had to watch him walk all the way to his car before she would come get in our car. She told me "mom, I have to see which car is his." She is so funny. Cayden was teasing her the whole way home that she had a crush on him and she couldn't stop blushing or smiling. Then tonight while we were getting ready for bed she told me "Mom, Christopher is not just the kind of friend that I like to play with, I really think I could marry him, he's that kind of boyfriend."

Did I mention that I Adore these kids!!!

My silly husband

I sent Chuck to the store on Friday to get a bag of country style noodles for the chicken noodle soup I was making. This is what he came home with...

In case you were wondering, here is a list of what his shopping spree included...

6 boxes of fruit snacks

taquitos

3 boxes of popcicles

Drum stick Ice cream cones

macaroni and cheese

Ben and Jerry's ice cream (this was actually for me, I love Phish food!)

Chicken pot pies

grasshopper cookies

chicken noodle soup

Frozen hot wings

3 packages of lunch meat

2 huge bags of cheese

and corn dogs

He said that he is very sorry, but he is going crazy with only fruits and vegi's around to snack on and that he is sick of eating so healthy.

I guess I will forgive him (for spending $200 on junk food), since the day before that he came home with these, just to say I love you!

I love him so much, even though he loves his junk food!

Kids Pictures

I just took the kids yearly pictures. I am really happy with how they turned out. I love my kids, they are so cute.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the cutes little pumpkin patch last weekend. They had a cute little petting zoo in the barn and a hay ride and train. We went with our good friends the Roger's. The kids had a blast picking out pumpkins.

Gracie got in this car and would not get out. She wouldn't share with any of the other kids. She was so funny.

Hayride!

Gracie got upset on the hayride and Cayden was so cute he was hugging her and rubbing her back to comfort her.

Our favorite trail and cuddle time

We have the most beautiful trails here. Biking is a really big thing here because of all the rolling hill, so there are the best biking trails everywhere. This is our favorite one. It is so beautiful with tons of trees and meadows and there is a secret park hidden in the tree's about a mile down the trail. The kids love to go biking there while I jog with Grace. We try to go a couple of times a week for our excercize time during school.

I took some pictures of the kids while we were there this week. It is so beautiful with the changing leaves.

I came downstairs the other day and Grace and Emma were laying like this watching Disney Channel. So cute. They love each other so much. The older Gracie gets the better they play and the more she follows Emma around everywhere.
I snapped a couple pictures of them and they were so cute that I had to post them.

Soccer

Cayden is loving soccer this year. I can't believe how much he is improving so quickly. He has the best coach. He and the boy who were having problems at the beginning of the season, the one who punched him, are now like best friends and stay together the whole practice. Little kids are so cute. They forgive and forget so quickly, I wish I was more that way. Anyway, we love to go and watch him at his games.

Becca's Wedding

We had such a great time at Becca's wedding. It was so nice to see all of our family and to be there to support Becca. We absolutely love Quin and know he will take such good care of Becca.

The wedding dinner was at Blue Lemon (my favorite!), in their blue room above the restaurant. It was so yummy and very laid back and fun.

Poor Emma kept getting bloody noses while we were there. I think she got used to the humidity here and couldn't stand the dryness in Utah!

Yet another one, at the temple the next day. She also got one at the reception and got blood on her dress, she was so upset.

The temple ceremony was beautiful. They were sealed by Gerald Lund, who is a friend of my Mom and Ron's. We waited for literally an hour and a half for Becca to come out after. I have no idea what she was doing! But at least I got lots of good pics while we waited.

The reception was so beautiful and I loved her flowers. They had a huge tent with a chandelier. It was so beautiful!
