-Cayden 2nd grade, Emma Kindergarten. Homeschooling is going great. Cayden has finally settled in so he is not fighting me everyday and Emma loves to learn, she just soaks it all up and begs me to take spelling tests. They are both doing really well and I am proud of them.
-Chuck is super busy with school. He got a few offers for next summer and after much prayer and fasting we decided to take the offer at Workman Nydegger in Salt Lake so we will be in Utah again next summer. This firm guarantees a job offer at the end of your internship so hopefully we will be back to Utah after school to work for this firm. They are an amazing firm for IP law and have always been one of our top choices to work for so we are super excited.
- A couple of fun fieldtrips to the Apple Orchard, a real farm, and the Childrens Museum in Indy.
-Emma started Violin, she is doing so well and she loves it.
-Cayden started piano, he is learning so fast and really enjoys it. I also got a new piano (well used, but new to me) that I love, it was an early Christmas Gift from my mom so Cayden could start lessons. I am teaching myself as well.
- Cayden and Emma both played soccer this season and both loved it and did really well. I am so mad, their games were at the same time so Chuck and I would switch of going to their games and then switch halfway through each game so we each got to watch both of them. I missed every single goal of both of them, and Chuck was there for all of them. I was so bummed that I missed them.
-The kids are both in the IU childrens choir which is one of the top children's choirs in the nation. They love it and are learning so much.
- Emma started ballet again and is loving it.
- We are all off sugar for an entire year. We told the kids if they did it with us that we would take them to Disneyland next summer and they have done so well. Everytime someone offers them a treat they say, "no, I'd way rather go to Disneyland than have that cookie." I really like this because it is teaching them to delay instant gratification for something you really want later.
- Just got a new camera with the insurance money (so glad it was covered under our renters insurance) so my pictures should get better really quick now!
